NECTA REGISTRATION PERIOD FOR INDEPENDENT CANDIDATES (CSEE & QT)

TANZANIA EXAMINATION COUNCIL

The Tanzania Examinations Council wishes to inform all those who expect to take the Fourth Form Examination (CSEE) and Knowledge (QT), in 2023 as Independent Candidates that;

1. The registration period for Independent Candidates has started on 01/01/2023 to 28/02/2023. The registration fee is 50,000 shillings for the Fourth Form Examination (CSEE) and 30,000 shillings for the Knowledge Test (QT).

In addition, those who register late i.e. from 01/03/2023 to 31/03/2023 will pay 65,000 shillings/= for the Fourth Form Examination (CSEE) and 40,000/= shillings for the Knowledge Test (QT) if it is a standard fee plus fine.

2. Before registering on the Internet, applicants should go to the Examination Centers to take reference numbers (reference numbers) provided free of charge and pay the fee through Post Office or Bank using 'Control Number'.

3. An explanation of the steps to follow in creating a Control Number and registering is provided on the website of the Tanzania Examination Council: www.necta.go.tz. 

 In addition, candidates who will not be able to use the system should come to the Post office or call 0738785945 for further assistance.

4. All applicants should be urged to ensure that they register early as the registration system will be closed immediately after the registration period is over.
